Brittin C. Thibodeaux, MD

Dr. Brittin C. Thibodeaux is a dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist with Acadiana Women’s Health Group (AWHG). A Lafayette native, she graduated Cum Lade from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a bachelor in science. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2020 from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, LA, and completed her residency at the same institution in 2024. With a strong educational foundation and extensive training, Dr. Thibodeaux combines clinical expertise with a passion for education to provide expert OBGYN care to patients in Acadiana and all across South Louisiana.

Throughout her career, Dr. Thibodeaux has been recognized for excellence in both patient care and clinical expertise. In 2023, she was honored at the “Evening for Healers” event by the LSU Health Science Foundation. She also received the G. Gary Brooks, M.D. Ambulatory Care Award for outstanding service and the James A. Truly M.D. Award for exemplary GYN care in 2022. Additionally, she earned the Residents as Educators Excellence Award in 2021 for her contributions to student education.

Dr. Thibodeaux and her husband, Jacob, are excited to return to their hometown with their two dogs, Sasha and Daisy. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family, working in her garden, and participating in various outdoor activities with her husband and two pups.
Recognized for her contributions to the field, Dr. Thibodeaux continues to advance women’s healthcare through medical excellence, research, and community service. With her extensive education and training, coupled with her contributions to research and various accolades, Dr. Brittin brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and skills to the team at AWHG. She hopes to provide compassionate and patient-centered care and views her practice as a partnership with her patients.
