Well Woman Exams
Prevention is the first step to living a healthy life.
Well woman exams focus on detecting and treating any risk factors that may results in serious illness.
During a well woman exam your provider will discuss and perform any necessary exams or tests that may include a blood pressure reading, weight measurement, blood or urine testing, a pelvic and breast exam, a pap smear, HPV screening, STD screening, immunizations, order mammograms and colonoscopies, order pelvic ultrasounds or bone density screening tests which are performed right in our office. Counseling? Diet, exercise?

We provide counseling on available contraceptive options and discuss which we feel would be the best for each individual patient. Contraception options frequently discussed, utilized and monitored include natural family planning, condoms, birth control pills, patches, vaginal rings, injectable contraception, LARCs (long acting reversible contraception) such as the IUD (intrauterine device) or subdermal arm implant, as well as permanent contraception such as tubal ligation and vasectomy.
Our physicians are skilled in diagnosing fertility problems and providing individual solutions to provide the personal, specialized care you deserve. The evaluation process may include a detailed history and physical exam, lab tests, semen analysis, X-ray testing and/or surgical procedures. The treatment options may consist of medication to induce ovulation, timed intercourse cycles, intrauterine insemination (IUI), surgical treatment, a referral for invitro fertilization (IVF) or any combination of these. Our goal is to work with you every step of the way to achieve a successful outcome.
