Is there any down time after Dermaplaning?
There is no downtime after this treatment. Normally, it takes 45 minutes to complete the treatment and treatments should be about two to four weeks apart for best results.
Are there any side effects?
Your skin could be red and a little swollen after the treatment. Normally, patients are pleased with the way their skin looks right after they receive this treatment.
Will the hair grow back?
Because the blade is only removing the hair from the surface of the skin, the hair follicles are not disrupted. So, the hair will grow back, but it will be the same as before. You do not have to worry about it growing back coarser.
